Crob, vaillant chasseur préhistorique, part délivrer son ami prisonniers des hommes géants des bois, soupçonnés d'anthropophagie, et affronte en chemin différents animaux géants (araignée, reptile, oiseau, etc.)

Crob, valiant prehistoric hunter, leaves to save his friend, prisoner of the giant men of the woods, suspected of cannibalism, and faces different monsters on the way (arachnid, reptilian, bird, etc.)

Il y a de cela fort longtemps, plusieurs millénaires, vivait dans la tribu des hommes de la plaine, Crob, chasseur intrépide et plein d'initiative. On le voyait toujours en compagnie de son ami Trip.
Les hommes de la plaine auraient vécu heureux s'ils n'avaient pas été en guerre continuelle contre les hommes des bois, géants cruels, voleurs, stupides et oui, disait-on, mangeaient parfois de la chair humaine.
Aussi dès l'école enseignait-on aux petits hommes de la plaine la crainte des hommes des bois.
Et un soir Crob ne vit pas revenir son ami, il avait été enlevé!
Il voulut partir sur le champ à la recherche, mais Kaul, un des plus anciens (il avait 260 ans car l'on vivait très vieux en ce temps-là) le retint et lui conseilla d'attendre le lendemain matin.

A long, long time ago, several millennia, Crob, intrepid hunter and man of initiative, lived in the tribe of the men of the plain. He was always seen in the company of his friend, Trip.
The men of the plain would have lived happily if they hadn't been in continual war against the men of woods, cruel giants, thieves, stupid and who even, it was said, sometimes ate human flesh.
Even at school the young children of the plain were taught to fear the woods men.
And one evening Crob didn't see his friend come back, he had been captured!
Crob wanted to leave immediately to search for him, but Kaul, one of elders (he was 260 years old because they lived to be very old in that time) kept him back, and advised him to wait for the following morning...
