sic

a Latin word meaning 'so', 'thus'. It is usually written in parentheses, and indicates that the word, phrase, passage, etc., appearing before it, which may look strange or incorrect, has been quoted accurately. (sic = "I think this looks funny but I checked it and that's how they wrote it.")

In this case, the Philadelphia Inquirer article spoke of Inspector "Guillaime" which seems to be an incorrect spelling of "Guillaume" (which ends in "-ume", not "-ime").
