Born in May 22, 1859 in Edinburgh, Arthur Conan Doyle is a prolific author whose works include science fiction stories, historical novels, plays for theater and romances. He is especially renowned for his novels and stories printed between 1887 and 1930, telling the adventures of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. These works are considered a major innovation in the field of crime fiction.
